The Heart’s Way, Imagery and Insights is a blog born from many years of working with good people who are hurting, either physically, or emotionally…or both! They have taught me countless valuable lessons about love, fear, despair, joy and pain, but mostly about hope.
My name is Jeanine Jones. I am a Christian, a counselor, and a fellow chronic pain
sufferer survivor. God’s blessings have been abundant throughout my life. He is my Heart’s Way. As a Clinical Social Worker, I have worked in the mental health field for 30+ years. Personally, my struggles with chronic pain have led me down unexpected paths where I have met many wonderful and intuitive people who have helped me in this (somewhat perplexing) journey. I have learned how physical pain can be intricately connected with emotional pain. Thus, my clinical work with others focuses on both mind and body. But what about soul? As for me, music stirs my soul and books embody my passion for knowledge and understanding. I am a thinker by nature and a helper by nurture…traits lovingly passed on to me through my parents. My family is loving and loyal, mixed with humor and honor. Having married later in life, I now have the privilege of being embraced by a “Braveheart” husband and his family as well!
So, with The Heart’s Way, Imagery and Insights, I’ve decided to spend some time sharing a bit of what I’ve learned along the way; thoughts and ideas that hopefully will touch your hearts and minds. To share topics that may be helpful in your everyday lives, such as stress, relationships, pain, anxiety, grief, depression…as well as hope, joy, happiness, and blessings! In addition to written posts, my desire is to also share Guided Imagery audio posts with you (more about that in the near future!).
Thank you for taking the time to read “About Me.” I’d love to hear from you, should you have a comment or a question, or an idea you would like to share! I’ve included a Comment Form (below) for your use.
